Blackburn College is based on one town-centre campus. The campus can be accessed by road from the M65, M6 and M61 in less than 10 minutes’ drive making the campus accessible from a range of locations across Lancashire.
The town-centre train station is a 10 minute walk away from our campus. Trains from/to Blackburn provide transport to the cities of Preston, Lancaster, Manchester and Leeds and connect Blackburn to West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester.
The College has a dedicated bus stop on campus and regular buses travelling between Preston and Colne pass directly through the campus.
Thanks to a multi-million pound programme of regeneration, Blackburn’s fortunes are set to rise even higher. Exciting projects such as the development of a new boutique cinema, piazza and outdoor dining space right next to campus are set to reinvigorate the town and our campus further.
Blackburn was also named one of the best places to earn a living following a survey by Totallymoney.com which analysed the cost of living in the town against average earnings.
