We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Functional Skills Trainer / Assessor within our Apprenticeship Services. The main purpose of this post is to assess Apprentice Functional Skills requirements using ForSkills and other diagnostic programmes and to support apprentices and monitor progress on the functional skills elements of the apprenticeship programmes. The post holder will be required to teach Apprentice Functional Skills sessions both on and off campus, covering English, Maths and ICT.
The role will involve liaising with NVQ assessors, manager and Exams team to book and run exams and to also to Monitor, Evaluate and Improve the Quality and Effectiveness of Own Practice and of Learning Programmes and assessments.
