Plymouth College of Art seeks outstanding motivated and qualified practitioners who will help us to continue to realise our ambitious developmental agendas at regional, national and international levels.
We are seeking to appoint to the following:
0.6 Senior Lecturer BA (Hons) Textile Practices;
You will take a leading role in delivering, reviewing and shaping the recently validated BA (Hons) Textile Practices programme in collaboration with the programme leader for Printed Textile Design and Surface Pattern, directing and managing a team of highly skilled and motivated staff, and helping to enhance and raise the profile of Textile Practices at Plymouth College of Art, at regional, national and international levels.
You will:
- Evidence strong and active engagement and a professional profile in national and international subject networks / research / practice.
- Have a distinguished professional track record in relevant disciplines and materials and an excellent awareness of the contemporary professional fields, their key trends and issues.
- Be proactive, inspirational and highly motivated with demonstrable experience of innovative teaching and successfully planning and co-ordinating modules and/or programmes of study and teaching teams
