Lecturer - Health and Social Care

Stephenson College is a highly successful FE college based in North West Leicestershire and is an innovative and highly responsive centre for education and training, recently graded Good by Ofsted.

We are looking for a Health and Social Care Lecturer to teach and assess at our Coalville Campus and various outreach venues. The ideal candidate must have a level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, ideally with a nursing qualification. An A1 or equivalent assessor’s qualification is also essential for this position.

Together with your experience of teaching and assessing in Health and Social Care programmes and apprenticeships, you will be an excellent communicator with good organisational skills. As a Health and Social Care Lecturer you will demonstrate an awareness of learners and employers needs and have the ability to work well with a range of people whilst responding to individuals’ needs.

As well as your relevant experience and current knowledge, you will also hold or be willing to obtain a relevant teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent).
