PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- To provide curriculum and operational leadership for all English and Maths programmes within the Centre for Health, Social and Childcare
- To act as Cross College Lead in Mathematics
- To ensure the effective and efficient management of resources and timely and innovative curriculum development which is responsive to local and national agendas
- To undertake responsibility for the management of English and Maths staff
- To promote outstanding standards of teaching learning and challenging underperformance in the pursuit of excellence
- To raise success rates in English and math’s across the Centre
- To undertake responsibility for a range of duties relating to the work of the Centre and its students
- To manage the whole learner experience within the area of Maths and English classes
- To ensure that the College’s quality assurance processes are implemented, monitored and evaluated to assess impact and appropriately developed
- To ensure that all students have initial and diagnostic assessments and are placed on the correct qualification aim
