Leeds College of Art has played a central role in providing specialist education in art, design and the crafts for 170 years and has developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students. This is an exciting and dynamic time in the College’s strategic development. The Privy Council recently granted the College Taught Degree Awarding Powers (TDAP) and we are now working towards becoming the first specialist arts university in the North.

We are looking for someone to lead our front of house reception service who has previous experience of leading front of house teams and have a customer facing outlook. You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service and organisational skills with the ability to meet and exceed customer expectations. This is a rewarding role, and an opportunity to develop an outstanding customer focused reception service for the College.

The Senior Receptionist will lead and motivate a small team of reception staff who will be the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors to the College. The team is responsible for dealing with enquiries and deliveries, post to the College at the Blenheim Walk reception and handling calls on the College switchboard, providing information, guidance and direction to people both within and visiting the College. You will provide the welcome at public events such as Private Views in our Gallery, and for End of Year shows offering guidance, advice and information to guests and visitors.
