Are you passionate about helping people grow? If so Novus has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Administration Coordinator to join the Education team within HMP Send. The work is challenging yet highly rewarding with real opportunity to change lives. 

The purpose of this role is to provide an effective administration service that supports contract monitoring, contract compliance and general office management. Process relevant data relating to finance, personnel or learners. 

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Accurate and timely reporting and analysis of all funding and compliance activity.
  •  Accurate and timely reporting of data required by stakeholders that has been arranged within the establishment`s partnership agreement.

 Ensure the safeguarding of learners
 Undertake regular system checks to ensure internal and external audit requirements are being met including undertaking appropriate data validation checks to ensure accuracy.
 Maintain the security of all auditable evidence
 Ensure all examination procedures are administered correctly 
 Proactive and constructive contribution to the department`s meetings and planning process
 Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and prison security requirements

AND - where an administration team is in place

  •  Effective day to day planning and management of staff and resources 
  •  Recruit, develop and maintain a flexible, qualified and experienced administration team 
  •  Day to day management of administration team in line with TMC policies and procedures, liaising with Regional HR Advisor as necessary Ensure compliance with TMC and partners` health, safety and security requirements.
  • Deal with any breaches in line with contractual agreements and in line with TMC policies and procedures.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience:

  •  Track record of effective and efficient administration within a busy office environment.
  •  Track record of maintaining accurate electronic and paper-based data recording systems.
  •  Track record of effectively managing a team in an office environment.
  •  Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  •  Hold or be willing to gain qualifications at level 2 in literacy and numeracy within agreed timescales.
  •  Hold a Level 2 qualification related to ICT or business administration.
