Business Development Consultant
Based in beautiful Scarborough on the North Yorkshire Coast, Yorkshire Coast College is a small friendly college, part of the Grimsby Institute Group which is a large, innovative, dynamic and financially sound organisation. We are officially “good” and aim to be an “outstanding” educational provider in the next two years.
We are looking for a committed and dynamic Business Development Consultant to join Yorkshire Coast College at an exciting moment in its development. The College is currently preparing for its move to a new campus and will be undertaking a rebranding exercise as part of the move, which will see us become Scarborough TEC.
The Business Development Consultant (BDC) will be responsible for the account management and development of employer relationships to raise employer awareness of apprenticeships and work-based learning opportunities for Small to Medium businesses within the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership (The LEP) region. Funded through the European Social Fund (ESF) and Skills Funding Agency (SFA), the aim of the projects are to address skills shortages of the employees of small to medium enterprises within the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership (The LEP) region.
