- To teach A-Level and possibly some GCSE Maths to 16-19 year old students.
- To be a tutor to a group of 16-19 year old students.
In addition to the responsibilities of a teacher laid down in the Sixth Form College Conditions of Service, the post-holder will:
- Teach A-Level and GCSE Maths.
- Act as a personal tutor to a group of A level students and participate in the Centre's pastoral system
- Use college systems to monitor students’ progress and keep and up to date student details and assessment records.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and shared resources within the maths department.
- Take part in departmental meetings, INSET and continuous professional development.
- Take part and organise enrichment activities such as trips and visits.
