Learning Support Tutor

Hartpury College recruit students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities onto a wide range of vocational programmes.  Our well regarded Learning Support Department is currently looking for motivated, flexible and conscientious staff. 

You will take responsibility for assessing and identifying literacy, study skills and additional learning support and EAA needs for students.  You will interview identified students, timetable and deliver their specialist tuition on a one to one or small group basis.  

The successful candidate will have a Level 5 Teaching Learners with dyslexia / specific learning difficulties and will have or be willing to work towards Level 7 Teaching and Assessing Learners with dyslexia / specific learning difficulties.

You will have experience of working with post 16 year olds in an educational setting and knowledge and/or experience of our subject areas including Equine, Sport, Agriculture and Animal Management, as you will work with learners in and out of the classroom.
