This is an opportunity for an excellent, committed and ambitious English teacher, who is ready to work in an exciting time at Sir George Monoux Sixth Form College and can help shape the future of the subject! We are looking for teachers of A-level English Literature, A-level English Language, A-level English Language and Literature, A-level Communications and Culture and also at GCSE level.

To succeed you will be a well-qualified, and driven practitioner with a first class track record in teaching either or both A Level and Foundation English, with the ability to challenge learners whilst supporting them to achieve outstanding results. Above all, you must have real enthusiasm for working with young people and aspire to them becoming confident and capable citizens, with real self-belief.

For this role you will need excellent subject knowledge and a strong track record of successfully delivering student outcomes.
