An opportunity has arisen for a reliable, self-motivated and responsible individual to join our farm team.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of flock management including experience of health & fertility planning, grazing and grassland management, on-farm technologies, nutrition of growing lambs and breeding stock, and some level of financial understanding, in relation to profitable sheep production will be highly beneficial.

A good level of communication is key to this role as you will be expected to work with students and academic staff whilst also being a flexible team player, with a willingness to assist on the other enterprises as needed.

The flock is involved in a national benchmarking group therefore accurate data collection is key along with the ability to set up and host industry led meetings with AHDB and other third parties.
