Lecturer in Engineering

If so, why not come and join our team.  We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated individual to the role of Lecturer to deliver across a range of Higher Engineering courses.  If you are passionate about your industry and are ready to pass on your skills, knowledge and expertise to the next generation of Engineers then this could be the ideal position for you.

You will have an in-depth knowledge of industrial instrumentation and electrical control systems.  You must hold a minimum of a level 5 qualification, preferably level 6 or higher, in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering or other related subject areas.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach on our popular HNC/D Electrical/Electronic Engineering programmes and possibly on a newly validated BEng degree.  Units and modules include areas such as: Electrical and Electronic Principles; Electrical Power; Engineering Science (mechanical & electrical aspects preferably); Electrical & Electronic Measurement and Testing, and possibly in these areas: Engineering Computation; Robotics.

The Golden Hello payment would be a maximum payment of £6,000 payable as follows:

  • £2000   on appointment
  • £2000   on successful completion of probationary period
  • £2000   on successful completion of Certificate in Education (academic staff only); or 2 years service with excellent performance
