Lecturer in Sport (Further Education)

Hartpury College is one of the UK’s leading sports and land based residential colleges.  It has become one of the largest in the sector with outstanding teaching and sporting facilities. Over 3500 full time Further and Higher education students study at our attractive rural campus in Gloucestershire. 

22.2 hours per week (Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays)

Fixed Term until 30th June 2017

Start date: 3rd January 2017

We are seeking to appoint a highly enthusiastic and self-motivated lecturer who will teach on our popular Level 3 Extended and Subsidiary Diploma in Sport programmes. Ideally, you will possess an honours degree in a sports related subject and an appropriate sports coaching qualification as the role will involve a significant amount of coaching and leadership based work.  The successful candidate should also have strong communication and administrative capabilities.

The successful candidate will hold or be working towards a teaching qualification. Experience of delivering Sport within the further education sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
