We are looking for an individual to undertake teaching and other duties associated with the role of a Band 1 Lecturer within the Faculty for Health & Education. The key need for this role is to be able to teach Health related studies and a specific teaching programme along with areas of responsibility will be identified depending upon qualifications and experience. Main duties will include comprehensive teaching and/or course leader responsibilities, pastoral support of learners and full cost employer engagement and work placement monitoring.
The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status and a relevant degree or a vocational qualification in Nursing, or another applicable health professional qualification and have previous experience of teaching and assessing on a range of courses with relevance to health and science. Evidence of current experience within the health care sector will also be required along with an ability to demonstrate knowledge of the current curriculum in health.
