The Centre for Mountain Studies (CMS) is based in Perth, at UHI Perth college, one of the largest academic partners of the University of the Highlands and Islands. We are looking for a Research Administrator, who is able to provide support across the range of research and teaching activities delivered by CMS.
We are seeking an individual with excellent communications skills who is interested in becoming part of our dynamic research team.
A significant part of the role is administering our online MSc Programme in Sustainable Mountain Development. This involves acting as first point of contact for our students, advising on enrolment and progression options and liaising with curriculum administration departments as necessary. The candidate will also support with exam board preparation, and recruitment/marketing activities.
The candidate will support the delivery of research projects, assisting with budget development, organising meeting, events and travel for research teams and assisting with project communications. The role will involve a high level of interaction with colleagues across UHI and with collaborating partners in Scotland and internationally.
Other duties will include monitoring project budgets, managing invoices, procurement and basic website management.
We are looking for someone with an interest in the environment and sustainability to help support the main aims of CMS.
