The post-holder will be required to travel to other College sites when required.

This newly created role of SEND Standards Quality Officer will work closely with the Assistant Director for Additional Learning Support and the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement strategies to ensure high-quality provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge Colleges. A main focus of the role will be to ensure staff compliance and preparedness with SEND systems and procedures and supporting the colleges to meet SEND regulatory body requirements.

You will liaise with key College staff and external bodies to ensure that College SEND quality systems meet external regulations with regard to provision and support for SEND students. You will ensure compliance with systems and produce compliance reports for management consumption.

You will need to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a quality assurance and administrative role, and will have experience in managing aspects of ALS/SEN provision in a Further Education setting. You will have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel and Advanced Access, and have experience of using systems to produce reports. You will be highly organised and able to prioritise a busy workload effectively.
