Executive Director of Finance and Resources

The Heart of Yorkshire Education Group was established in March 2022 following the merger of Selby College and Wakefield College. With three established colleges in Castleford, Selby, and Wakefield, our aspiration is to be outstanding in everything we do.

Our new Group Executive Director of Finance & Resources will be a key member of our highly effective Executive Team.

We are seeking a positive and committed strategic leader with strong financial acumen and comprehensive experience of the FE sector’s financial landscape. You will oversee financial operations, ensuring fiscal health and compliance with financial regulations. Liaison with our experienced Board of Governors will be crucial, and you will possess excellent communication skills and a proven track record in financial planning, risk management, and audit oversight to safeguard Group finances and ensure future sustainability and growth. This role also encompasses Finance, Management Information Services and Funding, Estates, and IT Services.
