Director of MIS & Exams

Based at St.Albans campus with travel between various locations

We are seeking an enthusiastic Director of Management Information Services to support and advance the College's vision and mission. This pivotal role involves leading, managing, and developing the Management Information and Exams teams to ensure accurate data returns to funding bodies, securing appropriate funding, and meeting audit requirements. The successful candidate will oversee access to comprehensive, reliable, and up-to-date information and high-quality reporting facilities. They will also spearhead compliance monitoring and intervention, with a specific focus on data protection. Active participation in the broader management team and contributing to the strategic development of the College are essential responsibilities of this role..

Required Skills

• Excellent leadership skills
• High level of IT literacy including experience of areas such as design and implementation of data strategies,
• Experience working as a senior MIS or data manager within an FE environment.
• Experience in leading and developing high performing teams
