Apprenticeship Coordinator

About the Role

The role of Apprenticeship Co-ordinator is to support and co-ordinate the delivery of specified apprenticeship programmes to learners, meeting the requirements of local employers and equipping learners with the skills for their future through the delivery of outstanding education and training that inspires learners to achieve their potential. 

In this role you will co-ordinate and deliver learner interviews, induction and enrolments for new apprentices within Engineering and Construction programmes, ensuring the timely completion of appropriate paperwork. You will also be responsible for ensuring the administration and data monitoring activities for apprenticeships within the curriculum areas are completed timely and accurately.

This includes:

  • keeping up to date records and having responsibility for all relevant learner information
  • supporting Tutors with the coordination of timely review activity
  • monitoring and tracking enrolment, registration and exam claims
  • liaising with the End Point Assessment Coordinator to confirm activity as required
  • scheduling and co-ordination of Internal Verification processes.

As Apprenticeship Co-ordinator you will also support the progression of learners by co-ordinating access to the Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance service and assist with promotional and recruitment events for Apprenticeship provision.

You will…

You will have experience working within an administrative role, which including reporting data on a regular basis. Ideally, you will have experience of apprenticeship qualifications in any capacity.

You will hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths (or be willing to undertake), as well as a Level 2 Business Administration, or equivalent.

Department Info

Your line manager will be the Curriculum Manager – Engineering and Construction.  You will regularly report on your objectives to update them on a range of KPI’s including (but not limited to) learner recruitment, retention, achievement, attendance and progress. You will work closely with staff within Work Based Learning, and external providers.
