Admin Assistant (maternity cover)

The Position: We’re looking for an Admin Assistant to join our Industry Placement Team on a maternity cover contract up to 9 months.

This is a diverse role which involves supporting the team to co-ordinate substantial industry placements required for students to successfully complete their qualification. You would be working in an experienced team who are passionate about what they do. We are a kind and supportive team who would love to have you join us.

What skills are we looking for:

  • An excellent communicator - you must be able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders including students, parents, curriculum staff and external employers.
  • A multitasker - you must be able to work on various projects at the same time.
  • A strong organiser - you need to be able complete tasks from start to finish, meet deadlines and work within a budget.

Responsibilities for the role:

  • Support the team with administrative functions in order for them to co-ordinate successful Industry Placements.
  • Track and monitor student placements ensuring that all documentation is in place to ensure audit compliance.
  • Track and monitor financial expenditure within the team, ensuring audit compliance.

The Location: The role would be based at either our Nuneaton or South Wigston sites. Travel between different sites and to various external locations will be required.
