Safeguarding Officer

North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College are looking for a Safeguarding Officer to work alongside other members of the Designated Safeguarding Team to ensure that all students receive appropriate pastoral care and support. Working with students that may be experiencing a variety of life challenges, you will provide appropriate pastoral and welfare support, tailored to each individual’s needs.

What skills are we looking for:

  • Previous experience of working in a safeguarding or pastoral support role
  • Excellent record keeping skills
  • Able to communicate with students and staff at all levels of the organisation

Responsibilities for the role:

  • Delivery of one-to-one pastoral/welfare support
  • Upkeep of appropriate confidential records
  • Liaise with Designated Safeguarding Leads to keep vulnerable students safe from harm

 The Location: The site is based in Wigston.
