We are seeking to appoint a part time Section Manager for ESOL who would be responsible for planning, implementing and delivering courses within the ESOL Section. You will develop provision, teach on a range of courses and line manage a team of teaching staff. You will be primarily responsible for the School’s Young Learner Full-time ESOL, Functional Maths, additional qualifications and Enrichment activities. This post is an 0.4 FTE job share (2 days per week) with another Section Manager who works 0.6 FTE (3 days per week).

A relevant degree/professional qualification is essential, together with an English Language Teaching qualification (e.g. CELTA, DELTA, Dip TESOL, MA ELT) and an advanced level teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (PGCE, DET or equivalent). You should also have adequate experience in delivering ESOL courses, some curriculum co-ordination experience and have good leadership skills, with some experience of supervising a team in Further Education or a similar setting.
