Who we need & What you will bring

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Cook / chef to join our team at the College.

Proven experience of catering for large events and functions is essential, as is experience of day to day menus that are attractive and cost effective and will ensure the site achieves gross profit.

Working alongside learners within a kitchen and assisting in their training.

Taking responsibility for food safety issues, allergen awareness and recording data to ensure the College is legally compliant is a must as is knowledge of statutory, legal and company hygiene and Health & Safety requirements relevant to the post.

Ability to organise and prioritise your day to ensure our hungry learners are catered for in an interesting and diverse way.

Hours of work between 7.30am - 3.00pm with half hour for lunch. Flexible working hours can be discussed at interview for the right applicant.
