Curriculum Lead - Engineering

The vacancy

We have an exciting opportunity for a Curriculum Lead in Engineering based at our Doncaster College Campus. You will be responsible for the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Motor Vehicle, Fabrication & Welding, Electrical Installation departments, responsible for delivering full-time courses to Further Education students. 

You will ensure curriculum delivery is consistently high across a range of programmes through promotion of outstanding teaching, learning and assessment, ensuring that all students are fully supported, challenged, and stretched to achieve their potential.

As part of the role, you will be responsible for tutors and support staff and the maintenance of high quality provision. DNCG are forward thinking, so within this role you would be responsible for the research, development and implementation of programmes and delivery methodologies that meet the needs of both students and local industry employers. 

The leadership aspect of this role covers the alignment of courses and delivery methods with other curriculum leads, and contributing to the growth of DNCG's strategic plan. Alongside leading the curriculum, there is a requirement to support in the delivery of course content to learners. 

You will be responsible for the recruitment, training, and development of a highly skilled workforce.

This role is full time, based at Doncaster College.
