GCSE Maths Lecturer x 2 FTE

We’re looking for 2 full time Lecturers specialising in Maths to deliver GCSE and possibly Functional Skills qualifications to 16–19-year-old study programme learners.

Either way this role is perfect for any enthusiastic lecturer who really gets a kick out of changing lives and helping people to increase both their skills and life opportunities.  This is a new role that has been adapted to allow the maths and English lecturer to not only teach the English or maths but be a support to their groups within the vocational lessons. Experience of working with a construction environment or having experience of embedding vocational courses into the maths and English sessions is desirable although training will be offered for the right candidate.

  • Willingness to travel

Responsibilities for the role:

  • Planning and delivering outstanding, engaging, and effective programs to Study Programme students aged 16-19 and Adult Learners
  • Monitoring attendance and achievement
  • Liaise with vocational staff to support the development of the maths programme and resources.

The Location: 2 posts available to work predominantly at our Nuneaton campus although travel to other sites may be required.
