We are looking for an experienced light vehicle technician to join our team, and support the teaching of Automotive Engineering programmes, covering all typical light vehicle maintenance and repair areas. The campus is well resourced to deliver a first-class learning experience with a balanced mix of classrooms and training workshops.

As a lecturer within your specialisation you will be responsible for developing and preparing materials for learning and teaching and assessment across a range of both theory and practical subjects from SCQF Level 4 to 7. Opportunities for personal development are available through UHI and at other universities.

Candidates should either hold an HNC or above in the subject area, or an SCQF Level 7 / SVQ Level 3 motor trade apprenticeship, or equivalent. You will also have practical industrial experience in the Automotive Sector and be familiar with techniques and processes used in the repair of modern vehicles.  In addition, you should be a well-motivated, self-starter with good communication skills who is able to work effectively with a team.
