About the Role

Term Time, Part time 16 hours per week over 3 days (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday )

Due to the nature of the role this is an onsite role

Based at our University Centre in Leeds.  We provide a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses.  We have a range of facilities and resources for students persuing higher education (HE) qualification.  The role involves supporting a lecturer in the Early Years subject area.

What You Will Do

  • Working closely with the lecturer to provide personalised administrative support to enable them to continue teaching
  • Set up and run the powerpoint slide show while the lecturer is presenting
  • Provide assistance with marking i.e. reading aloud student answers
  • Note taking as and when required
  • Inputting information into the different systems accurately

About You

  • Must have excellent IT skills with familiarity with Microsoft and Google Applications
  • Have a qualification at level 3 or above
  • Experience in providing support or mentoring
  • Previous experience in administration
  • Able to accurately record information
  •  Strong understanding of the impact of disability on learning
