English Lecturer

The Position: We’re looking for a Lecturer specialising in English to deliver GCSE and possibly Functional Skills qualifications to 16-19 year old study programme learners. 

Are you a lecturer looking for a new challenge? Are you looking for something different to the usual term-time patterns? Either way this role is perfect for any enthusiastic lecturer who really gets a kick out of changing lives and helping people to increase both their skills and life opportunities. Experience of embedding vocational courses into the English sessions is desirable although training will be offered for the right candidate.

You would be working in a flexible and supportive team, that are highly experienced and passionate about helping people gain new skills. We are a kind, supportive fun-loving bunch who would love to have you join us.

Responsibilities for the role:

  • Planning and delivering outstanding, engaging and effective programs to Study Programme students aged 16-19 and Adult Learners
  • Monitoring attendance and achievement
  • Liaise with vocational staff to support the development of the maths programme and resources
