HRUC is a newly merged College Group, bringing together Richmond Upon Thames College and HCUC (2017 merger of Harrow College and Uxbridge College) in January 2023.  

We are seeking an experienced estates and infrastructure professional with an excellent track record in delivering projects and contract management to lead on providing a safe and inspiring environment for our students and staff. 

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you would lead on the development and implementation of the College’s Estates Strategy, supporting capital projects including application and submission of capital grants, and optimising the use of college buildings.  You would be responsible for the quality, safety and maintenance of buildings and grounds, and will take a lead role in developing, promoting and implementing sustainable work practices.  

You will possess significant experience of managing Estates/Facilities in a medium sized and/or multi-site estate, including the management of teams of people and contractors.  NEBOSH qualified or equivalent, you will have strong knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, with experience of preparing specifications and tenders, developing sustainability policies and ensuring budget control and added value.  You will have strong people management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate teams, together with the drive and ambition to ensure the College realises its vision.

This post will be based across Uxbridge, Harrow and Richmond Colleges.
