Head of Higher Education

Redbridge College, located in East London, is one of the top performing General Further Education Colleges in London and was graded as “good” with OFSTED at the last inspection in December 2015. 

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Head of Higher Education who is committed to leading and providing the highest standard in teaching, learning and assessment.  

You will be responsible for managing: the day to day operation of the Higher Education provision (including partnership delivery); developing new programmes; developing partnerships with relevant HEIs; ensuring that staff are effectively coached, deployed and developed; and ensuring the college’s strategic and operational targets are achieved. 

Good communication skills, and a commitment to equal opportunities is essential for this post, as well as experience in managing successful curriculum teams and evidence of having led on change/curriculum innovation within Higher Education programmes.

It is essential that all applicants have a Honours Degree, a Masters Degree and a teaching qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject.
