About the role
We are looking to recruit an individual to teach/assess learners on our growing Access to Health Professions, T Level and BTEC Health and Social Care provision. This includes adults and education programmes for young people.
The ideal candidate would be able to deliver on several qualifications from the following: Psychology, Sociology, Health and Social Care, Biology, Physics, Chemistry. We would also like to recruit a teacher who is able to cover Health based classes and online provision on an occasional basis as and when required. The majority of this role would be face to face.
You will have a passion for teaching and be able to plan, teach and assess qualifications to the highest level, providing our students with an exceptional learning experience. You should also have the skills to deliver effective lessons using a range of online platforms (for example Microsoft teams). Our tutors will need to be adaptable, creative and resourceful in the face of the current challenges in education.
Industry experience and experience of teaching in an FE environment would be desirable, however, apprenticeship consideration will be given to graduates with good communication skills who are looking to pursue a career in teaching to allow them to train as a teacher and gain a Cert Ed/PGCE.
