Work Based Assessor - Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
UHI Perth is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.
We are looking for a Work Based Assessor in the subject discipline of Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. The role will involve conducting work-based and college-based assessments, internal verification and maintaining appropriate supporting documentation for candidates undertaking vocational qualifications; to develop industry and employer links and generate new business for the college.
You should be appropriately qualified with a Modern Apprenticeship / SVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification with motor trade experience. Ideally you should also and possess an assessor award such as D32/33 or A1 or L&D9DI, however this can be gained on-the-job if required. An ability and willingness to travel to assess candidates is also a necessary requirement.
