Curriculum Administration Officer - Wigston

The Position: Curriculum Administration Officer - Wigston based

We are looking to appoint forward thinking and self-motivated curriculum administration officers to join our busy curriculum administration team.  The role of the administration officer is to provide essential frontline and high-quality administrative support to curriculum teams to ensure the effective day to day operations of the College.

What skills are we looking for:

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate excellent administration and organisational skills, with recent and comprehensive experience in complex organisations (preferably obtained within an educational institution).

Responsibilities for the role:

Successful applicants will be required to develop, implement and co-ordinate a range of administrative activities and be able to work to tight deadlines, prioritising workloads accordingly.  They will be confident in using their own initiative to proactively improve systems and processes which enhance the support services provided to curriculum teams and ultimately our students.  The ability to remain calm, discrete and professional whilst working in an extremely busy environment will be key, as is a positive and self-reliant manner.  Discretion and diplomacy will be essential, and candidates must demonstrate a can-do problem-solving attitude.  Workload anticipation is vital, along with a need to own, problem solve and suggest new approaches and systems.  The busy nature of these roles means the administration officers must be able to work at pace, to a high standard and with minimum supervision.

The Location: The site will be based in Wigston campuse. We do offer  days working from home dependent on business priorities.
