We are opening our college doors on a Saturday at our Basford Campus from January 2024 to widen our adult offer, we will be running short courses in Construction, Maths, English, Access to Nursing, and for Adults with specific learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
Who we need
We are looking for colleagues to join our new Saturday college, you will be play a role in ensuring our students have a positive education experience and contribute to them enhancing their skills and career opportunities. As part of this role you will:
Plan and deliver exciting lessons
Work as part of the Saturday College team, ensuring all students have an excellent experience
Champion high expectations and prepare students for their next steps
We are looking for colleagues to teach Joinery, Plastering, Plumbing and Level 1 in Construction skills.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about passing on their experience, skills and knowledge to our students, withrelevant industry and teaching experience. The ideal candidate will bring:
The ability to draw on yourteaching and industry experience to link knowledge and ensure that the learning sticks
Take pride in planning and delivering exciting and engaging lessons
Be passionate about working in Further Education and enhancing the lives of our community
Excellent communication, planning and organisation skills
