Who we need & What you’ll bring

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and highly motivated person to join High Pavement Sixth Form as a Science Technician. The successful candidate will be passionate about science in an educational setting and particularly interested in being part of a high performing team that supports and engages learners across a broad spectrum of the sciences.

The Faculty Area offers science courses at A level and GCSE including Physics, Biology and Chemistry. It is a busy department with specialist labs which deliver a wide range of practical simultaneously.

You should enjoy working as part of a team; have excellent IT and Microsoft skills; work with a high attention to detail and provide outstanding customer service. You will also be required to produce information as requested by managers and provide information to colleagues and learners as well as assisting with day to day enquiries.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of current and future trends in Education and will be familiar working in an educational setting Schools/FE.
