Curriculum Team Manager - Maths

Oaklands College is looking to appoint a Curriculum Team Manager for Maths. This post would support the the Deputy Director for Life and Skills for Life to ensure the successful running of the Maths department.

The successful candidates would be required to teach GCSE and Functional Skills Maths on programmes to 16-18 and adult students.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Maths provision with specific responsibility to ensure that the students have a high-quality learning experience which effectively prepares them to achieve their full potential, achieve their Maths qualifications and progress onto higher levels of learning or employment. You will play an integral role in the quality assurance of the maths provisions for adults and 16-18 study programmes. All aspects of the job role are included in the job description.

You will be expected to work with the Curriculum Team Manager for English and the vocational Curriculum Team Managers provide students with an integrated and contextualised learning experience and journey with a view to maximising attendance, engagement and success.

You will work as part of a friendly and innovative maths and English team, who pride themselves on delivering the highest quality of teaching.
