We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and creative practitioners to deliver across a variety of Media courses from levels 3 to 5. You will be teaching on a range of UAL and Pearson Creative Media qualifications, as well as our new Open University working within a highly motivated team, to contribute to the continued success of the department.
Applicants will most likely have industry experience as well as a relevant academic and/or professional qualification in the subject area.
As well as being qualified in a relevant subject, it would be desirable, but not essential that you have a recognised teaching qualification. If you do not hold a teaching qualification then you will need to show a willingness to undertake appropriate training, for which support will be given.
We are currently looking to employee individuals with experience and knowledge within the following disciplines:
Journalism especially Broadcast Journalism
Digital Design, Games and Animation
You will need to be highly organised and flexible in your approach to work. You will enjoy a challenge, and ideally have experience of working within a team. You should have a passion for working with people 16+ across Further Education and Higher Education. You will have a high level of interpersonal, motivational, communication and organisation skills.
A commitment to student learning and attainment is essential.
