In the role of Personal Assistant to the Vice Principals, you’ll predominantly be based at our Waterfront campus (Huddersfield) and your focus will be on providing an efficient, professional and welcoming support service to the Vice Principals and Senior Leadership Team, Corporation, cross college staff, students and external visitors in a customer service environment.
Your key responsibilities will be to provide a comprehensive and high-level Personal Assistant service to the Vice Principals, liaising with external and internal contacts to ensure completion of projects and continuous improvement in level of service provided; to provide a first-class administrative support service across the department; and to be a dedicated team member constantly reviewing and improving processes within a customer focused culture.
Ideally, you’ll have minimum of a Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C), minimum of Level 3 NVQ in Business Administration or equivalent, exceptional IT skills including use of Microsoft suite applications, with the ability to prepare presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint or equivalent (or be able to prove equivalent ability), and demonstrable experience of working in a similar role and environment at SLT and Board level. It’s important that you’re able to communicate effectively and have a demonstrable record of excellent diary management. You must be able to demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
