Lecturer - Bakery
Our Food and Drink Innovation centre (FADIC) has gone from strength to strength since opening in 2018. We are proud of offer students an industry level environment in which to develop their skills.
We are looking for a part-time Lecturer – Bakery for 30 hours per week (4 days).
To teach students attending full-time, part-time and short courses participating in curriculum development, ensuring the department meets the needs of changing industrial demand and College development. As well as practical lessons, Lecturers must also participate in internal verification, auditing and other quality monitoring processes to ensure that all learners, customers and clients receive exemplary service and attention at all times.
Applicants must be educated to BSc level or equivalent in Food Technology or related subject with relevant and up to date knowledge industry techniques. Ideally you will be a qualified teacher and able to demonstrate experience in this curriculum area but we can also support applicants to gain a teaching qualification so those without but with industry experience may still apply. You will be confident to work with range of abilities and quickly build rapport with student groups.
