Landbased students at Moulton College make use of an extensive range of practical resources as an important part of their course. These include nearly 500 hectares of commercially farmed estate on a range of soil types. Our team is going from strength to strength with consistent growth in student numbers year on year. Duties will include the teaching and training of students and other client groups across our Landbased provision to quality standards set by the college. This will also include the tutoring and management of one or more courses or groups of students, along with development of landbased courses. Further requirements of this role will be to participate in internal verification, auditing and other quality monitoring processes to ensure learners, customers and clients receive exemplary service.
Ideally you will have experience of working in an agricultural discipline. You should be educated to HNC level or have equivalent vocational experience within a countryside management discipline. YoYou may also hold a range of additional qualifications such as NPTC in Tractor Proficiency, PA certificates or safe telehandler operation certificates. You will also hold or be prepared to work towards and achieve a Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Certificate in Education), have obtained a minimum of grade C or equivalent in GCSE English & Maths, and are committed to, and have evidence of CPD.
