Hours/weeks: 37 per week, 52 weeks per year

Actual salary range:

18.5 hours TA Scale- up to £38,597 (FTE) dep on experience

18.5 hours Lecturer Scale- up to £40,167 (FTE) dep on expereience

In the role of TA -Worked based tutor, you’ll predominantly be based at Engineering Centre and your focus will be on delivering-assessing-tracking of engineering maintenance apprenticeship standards. Your key responsibilities will be a hybrid role of teaching and assessing of engineering maintenance standards, theses will include mandated qualifications. Visits into the work place will be involved to assess development competence.

Ideally, you’ll have level 3 maintenance qualifications, an advantage would be experience within maintaining plant equipment especially within the food and drink sector. Or be able to prove equivalent ability and experience in other sectors. It’s important that you’re able to communicate effectively, engage with young people and work part of a dedicated delivery team, you must demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
