Technician Catering

Do you have the ambition to support the training of the next generation of Chefs entering the Hospitality Industry? If so, now could be the time to join us!

North Lindsey College, part of the DN Colleges Group, are looking to appoint a full time (36.5 hours per week) term time (38 weeks a year) Technician for their growing portfolio of Catering/Professional Cookery qualifications. Delivery will be based at our main campus, and at our new specialist onsite kitchen in Scunthorpe.

We are seeking a person who is industrially competent with a background of industrial catering support. Knowledge of Food Safety is a key requirement so qualifications in this area or a commitment to undertake and achieve within a specified timescale are vital

Lets Teach Programme  
Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.  

Let’s Bloom
The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
