Clerk to the Governing Body - 10 hours per week - 40 weeks per year

Westminster Adult Education Service is seeking a dedicated governance professional as a part-time Clerk for its Governing Board.

The Role

As a part-time Clerk, you will be an essential part of our Governing Board, providing administrative support and helping to ensure the smooth operation Board activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Organising and attending board meetings
  • Taking accurate minutes and distributing them in a timely manner
  • Maintaining official records and documents
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as required

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate minutes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
  • A commitment to our mission of providing high-quality adult education.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
