The role:

Providing administrative support to assist the HR team to deliver a professional high quality service to managers and staff; being the first point of contact for visitors to the Department and telephone enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Recruitment Officers in the administration of the recruitment process, preparing interview packs and requesting   references.
  • Prepare and disseminate standard reports to the HR Team.
  • Assist in the preparation of ad hoc requests for information and reports e.g. – Welsh language data, Subject Access requests, mortgage requests.
  • Monitor the HR Inbox to ensure all email enquiries are responded to in a timely manner.

About you:

  • Previous experience of working in an office is essential and previous experience of HR would be an advantage.
  • Excellent IT skills and a high degree of accuracy.
  • 5 GCSE passes (grades A-C) including Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and confidence in dealing with people
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.  
  • Welsh language skills to level 2 have been identified as desirable for this post.
