Childcare Assessors

The Position: Due to growth within the directorate we are looking to recruit a full and part time child care assessor.

Are you an experienced early years practitioner or primary school teacher wanting to share your knowledge and expertise with the next generation? If you would like a new challenge this could be the role for you. You will have an assessor’s qualification alongside recent industry experience within a childcare setting.

You would be working within a lively and forward-thinking directorate who will work together to support you on your journey.

What skills are we looking for:

  • A multitasker - you must be able to work on a variety of tasks in a flexible manner.
  • A creative thinker - you will have the freedom to bring innovations and new ideas to the directorate.
  • A completer - you will take responsibility for a group of learners to ensure a timely completion of the skills requirements whilst in a work placement.

Responsibilities for the role:

  • To prepare learners for their experience of work.
  • To assess learners’ knowledge and understanding.
  • To provide support to a group of learners whilst in placement to ensure success in their learning.
  • To support the learner journey.

The Location: You will assess learners in their work placement, this could be based in Warwickshire or Leicestershire dependent upon the campus that the learners are studying at. There is some flexibility to work from home to complete planning and to log assessments.
