HRUC is a newly merged College Group, bringing together Richmond Upon Thames College and HCUC (2017 merger of Harrow College and Uxbridge College) in January 2023.   We are now seeking to appoint a Head of School - Sport, Travel and Public Services, based at the Uxbridge campus.  Reporting to the Assistant Principal for Supported and Targeted Learning, you will be responsible for leading and developing courses from Level 1 to Level 5 across a range of awarding bodies, and will build and maintain links with industry and employers.

We are seeking an individual with management experience gained within Further Education with strong record of achievement, preferably within one of the above curriculum areas.   You will be qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject area and will have a good understanding of the needs of the sectors within the remit of this post, together with experience of curriculum design with employers to meet their needs. You should have good knowledge of relevant awarding body regulations and experience of quality improvement in an FE environment.  You will be able to demonstrate good team leadership and management, and have the drive and commitment to continue our excellent record of student retention, achievement, and progression.
