Business Administration Apprentice

About the Role

The Administration Apprentice is a key part of the College’s Administration Team, working within a team that supports both learners and staff throughout the academic year. This role is extremely important in assisting the Administration team achieve its goals which link into the College’s mission.

We will ensure that you learn business administration processes and systems.  Specifically, we will help you to develop skills in understanding different types of information such as: word processing, data analysis and inputting, producing and distributing a variety of correspondence, reports and documentation.  You will maintain a range of information systems used throughout the College and be committed to providing an excellent customer service to both internal and external clients. 

Through a proactive, enthusiastic and customer focused approach you will help the College achieve our mission to provide skills for the future of our students and community, through outstanding teaching and learning.  Your work will ultimately lead to increased number enrolments, highly accurate data plus positive development of the College reputation.

You will…

As part of the role, you will work towards a Level 3 Business Administration Standards. You will hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths or be willing to work towards this as part of your studies.

You will have some relevant work experience of performing administrative tasks, which may be from work (including voluntary work) or education and ideally experience of working in an office environment and/or providing excellent customer service, for example within retail or hospitality.

Department Info

You will report to the Senior Curriculum Administrator and work as part of a Curriculum

Administration Team. You may be required to participate in cross college teams or

working groups on key projects.
