Lecturer - Electrical Installations

Our Electrical Installations team have a great opportunity for someone to join the team, training and teaching the next generation of installers.
As an Electrical Lecturer, you will play a key role in the success of our students through:
- preparation, delivery and assessment across a range of levels.
- supporting and guiding students to achieve success and realise their potential.
- managing students’ learning and provide a high quality learning experience.
- contribute pro-actively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching.
Our ideal candidates will have experience of teaching or training, alongside the following qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (2360, 2330, 2365 or equivalent)
- PGCE Cert Ed or a willingness to achieve
- Minimum of Level 3 teaching / training (i.e. PTTLS)

Contract Type - Bedford College
- 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / 52 weeks per year
- 45 days per annum (plus public holidays), pro rata for part-time
- Teachers Pension

- Successful candidates who will be entering the education sector directly from a relevant industry role will be eligible for a £5k payment from The Connolly Foundation (subject to the rules of the scheme)
