About the Role

We are a busy, ambitious Law department that is looking to recruit an experienced law lecturer to cover maternity leave. The role will involve preparing, delivering and assessing across a range of Law programmes including LLB (Hons). Access to Law and Cilex. We are looking for an enthusiastic team member who has achieved a Masters qualification or is willing to enrol on a Masters programme.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare, teach and assess classes for the Access to Law Diploma, CPQ and LLB(Hons)
  • Monitor student attendance and ensure excellent student achievement and progression
  • Engage in moderation and standardisation activities
  • Engage in pastoral support of students
  • Engage in Continuous Professional Development

  About You

  • You will have experience of delivering classes to law students which are engaging with include innovative formative assessment activities
  • You will have experience of teaching law students in both FE and HE settings
  • You will have experience of marking and moderation
  • You will have experience of supporting students to succeed
